When you see me, ask to see my work ID because that’s when I can tell you that I am, in fact, a doctor in the Emergency Medicine Department at NYU Langone Medical Center. Now those who know me know very well that I am blatantly lying about this. Okay, it’s true that I have an ID for Langone and it’s true that I am part of the Emergency Medicine Department, but (as you can probably tell) I am not a doctor. Let me repeat. I am NOT a doctor nor am I interested in pursuing the field of medicine. Now you might be wondering, “Why does she have an ID for NYU Langone then?” It’s simple.
